Truxton Circle is a neighborhood in the Northwest quadrant of the District. It is adjacent to the better-known neighborhoods of Eckington, Bloomingdale, Shaw, and Mount Vernon Triangle. There are plenty of options to get around the city from Truxton Circle, whether it is walking, biking, or the bus. Two-level, flat-roofed rowhouses dominate Truxton Circle real estate. There are also townhomes and large apartment buildings. Beau Thai, Red Hen, and Boundary Stone are neighborhood restaurants. The community features two public libraries and outdoor movies in the summer. Additionally, there are several nearby entertainment and cultural venues such as the Howard Theatre, Capital One Arena, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and the National Portrait Gallery.
