Located in North Old Town (1201 N. Royal Street), Muse offers luxury living in historic Old Town Alexandria. This building will be eight stories high, consisting of 73 units, anchored by a lower level of artists’ space. Fun fact: Metro Stage, previously in this location, is moving to the Venue, another new construction project underway in Old Town. The Muse and The Venue will bookend what is slated to be Old Town’s new arts district.
The Muse is a project of Carr Companies, which has been in the industry for more than a century. Construction is underway and is slated for delivery in Fall 2021. Sales will begin Fall 2020. Prices will range from $750K to $3 million (with an average price of $960 per square foot). Condo fees will run $0.84 per square foot. A ten percent deposit is required to secure a unit.
Muse’s 73 units layouts include 1 bedroom + den, 2 bedroom, and 2 bedroom + den. The twenty-eight different floor plans making this project very unique from a typical building with many of the same floorplans repeated throughout the building. Square footages range from 952 in the smallest unit to 1,939 in the largest.
All Muse condos feature high-end fixtures, floor-to-ceiling windows, panoramic views, 5” engineered wood floors, designer lighting, modern Italian kitchens, and luxurious spa baths.
Other high-end details include Bosch and Thermador appliances, Snaidero cabinetry, Waterworks fixtures, kitchen islands with waterfall edges, quartz countertops, under-cabinet lighting, and large-format porcelain tile (see showroom sample image).
Early buyers (by the end of 2020) can select one of three color choices for cabinets and floors and work with Snadiero to upgrade their cabinetry.
