Ford’s Landing is located on the Potomac waterfront and Mount Vernon Trail in the Southeast Quadrant of Old Town.

Ford’s Landing History

Within Ford’s Landing are six historical markers honoring Alexandria’s history, its colonial days, and its contributions to the War Between the States. Constructed in 1998, Ford’s Landing was previously home to an old Ford Motor Company plant.

Ford’s Landing Real Estate

Many of its four-story homes boast views of the Potomac River and DC skyline. One of Old Town’s most exclusive developments, this luxury 136 unit townhome development lies at the intersection of Union and Franklin Streets. Unlike many of the new construction options in Old Town, many Ford’s Landing homes feature back patios or small yards (versus roof decks). Sports and fitness enthusiasts will appreciate Ford’s Landing’s open spaces and proximity to Windmill Hill and Jones Point Parks, nearby volleyball and basketball courts, and the Mt. Vernon Trail.
