Belle Haven Real Estate
The nearly 500 homes in this neighborhood were built primarily in the 1920s when a former plantation became a residential neighborhood. Manors, cottages, classic Colonials, and townhomes are all found in this quiet, leafy enclave. Belle Haven became very popular in the ‘90s when George H. W. Bush was in office and his son, Marvin, lived in the neighborhood. Views of the Potomac River are visible from some homes of this neighborhood, which really adds to the charm of Belle Haven real estate.
Belle Haven has several events throughout the year and is close-knit community. The Belle Haven Country Club is within walking distance, just across Fort Hunt Road, which is perfect for members who enjoy golf, tennis, and swimming. Most Belle Haven real estate is also walkable to the Belle View shopping center, where families can grab a casual dinner at Primo’s restaurant or the nearby location of Del Ray Pizza. Couples or groups can get together at Bread & Water or Wine & Design for coffee or wine gatherings.
