Belle Haven is an elegant neighborhood just south of Alexandria City in the Fairfax County portion of Alexandria.

Rolling hills and cul-de-sacs add to the charm of the community, with Fort Willard Park in the center of the neighborhood as the primary location for neighborly gatherings. This community is also close to both the Huntington and King Street Metro stops. It offers easy access to Old Town and the Capital Beltway, making for an easy commute to DC, The Pentagon, and Tyson’s Corner.

Belle Haven Real Estate

The nearly 500 homes in this neighborhood were built primarily in the 1920s when a former plantation became a residential neighborhood. Manors, cottages, classic Colonials, and townhomes are all found in this quiet, leafy enclave. Belle Haven became very popular in the ‘90s when George H. W. Bush was in office and his son, Marvin, lived in the neighborhood. Views of the Potomac River are visible from some homes of this neighborhood, which really adds to the charm of Belle Haven real estate.

The nearby Mount Vernon Trail offers a fabulous spot for biking and running. Water and nature lovers will appreciate that nearby are Dyke March, Belle Haven Marina, and a sailing school.
