Q3 2022 Sales in Alexandria

October 13, 2022 | Inside Alexandria | By: Allison

The third quarter in Alexandria saw a slowdown in sales from the frantic pace of sales in Q1 and Q2. The average sales price of a single family home was $921,624, while townhomes averaged $989,998 and condos has an average price of $427,449. Homes are spending 19 days on market on average, roughly the same as last year. The most dramatic difference, though, was the number of homes sold. 592 homes closed in Q3 in Alexandria, dropping almost a full quarter from the 789 sold in Q3 of 2021. Below are the sales for several of Alexandria’s most popular neighborhoods in the third quarter of this year.
