Don’t miss the world’s largest Christmas light maze and village. You’ll be enchanted by the light maze, go skating on the ice trail, wander through the Nordic-inspired Christmas market, and you can even meet Santa! Purchase your tickets here.
National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

The Ellipse at The White House, Washington DC
The annual National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on the Ellipse features live musical performances and the lighting of the large tree as well as the 58 smaller trees representing the US states and territories each featuring ornaments created by students. If you miss the lighting ceremony, you can still see the tree every evening from December 2 – January 1. November 1: Free ticket lottery opens at 10am. November 8: Free ticket lottery closes at 3pm. November 15: Results of ticket lottery announced. Enter the lottery here!

The District’s Holiday Boat Parade Dec 2, 6-9pm The Wharf DC – 760 Maine Ave SW, Washington DC Celebrate the holidays with this iconic DC event that features over 60 beautifully decorated boats parading along the Washington Channel. Visitors will also be able to grab some latkes, donuts, and dreidels during the free event. Tickets will be available to the public on November 10th at 5pm.
