Potomac Yard’s Hottest New Development: The Dylan

May 2, 2021 | House Crush | By: The Goodhart Group

Construction has begun on the Dylan, a 138-unit upscale condo community located just five minutes from Amazon’s new HQ2 campus and Virginia Tech’s Innovation Campus in National Landing. Completion is expected to coincide with the opening of the new Potomac Yard Metrorail Station in March 2022.

Located at 2551 Main Line Boulevard and built by Fortis Companies, these luxurious condos were designed for modern lifestyles. The spacious floor plans offer one (plus den), two, or three bedrooms, 1.5 – 2.5 bathrooms, and average 1,200 square feet. Several units will have outdoor terraces with views of the Potomac and DC monuments. Dylan units will be priced from the $600,000’s to over $1 million.

Not to be forgotten are the impeccable amenities at The Dylan as well. The Dylan will feature two modern lobbies with full-time on-site management and concierge services. Two rooftop terraces, two club rooms, a fitness center, electric car charging stations, bike storage, personal storage lockers, pet washing stations, secure underground parking spaces, and Amazon Hub Lockers make living even easier. Two pets are allowed per residence. Included in the fitness center is a yoga room as well as free weights and cardio machines. A work-at-home business center will also make working from home even easier.

With interior design by Akseizer Design Group, Dylan has a sleek, high-end feel. Its chef-inspired kitchens boast white Calacatta quartz counters, full-height backsplashes, central islands (with refrigerated wine storage in select units). Wood cabinetry and high-end, built-in wood-paneled appliances add warmth to the modern kitchens.

Spa-like bathrooms feature floor-to-ceiling tile in neutral tones, recessed lighting, oversized showers, showerhead and detachable wand, bench seats, and double vanity, LED lighted mirrors, and separate handshowers. All residences also include Echo B Smart thermostats.
