Licensed in Virginia and DC, I have been devoted to the real estate profession for more than 30 years and have been an area resident for over 40. Today, I’m the proud CEO of The Goodhart Group, one of the D.C. area’s most trusted real estate businesses, combining cutting-edge real estate technology with unparalleled DC area know-how. I founded The Goodhart Group in 1992 with my husband, Marty, and today lead the team alongside my daughter, Allison. In 2018, the three of us became founding members of Compass’s Alexandria office. The Goodhart mission hasn’t changed since day one: helping people through the biggest transitions of their lives.

I’ve personally surpassed $2 billion in lifetime sales and have been named a Top Agent or Top Producer by Washingtonian each year since inception, as well as by Northern Virginia Magazine and Arlington Magazine. But what I value most is the network of trust I’ve built over decades: the clients, colleagues, and neighbors who keep coming back.
Before starting my real estate career, I earned a Bachelor of Arts from Dickinson College and a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from Harvard University, then spent 14 years as a small business owner in Old Town Alexandria. I’ve worked as one of Alexandria’s most established agents, achieving lifetime Top Producer status with the Northern Virginia Board of Realtors.
My commitment to my community goes beyond real estate. I serve on the Board of Directors of the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce as Development Chair, am a past President of the Board of St. Coletta’s of Greater Washington, and have held leadership roles with The Campagna Center, The Fund for Alexandria’s Child, and the Choral Arts Society.

I enjoy spending time with my husband Marty and our daughters Allison and Amanda, their husbands Doug and Ben, and our grandsons Brooks, Wesley, Chase, Hank, and Lainey.
