Just east of the George Washington Memorial Parkway and south of Hilco’s redeveloping Potomac River Generating Station sits 1201 E Abingdon where Pinkard plans to transform the office into multifamily instead..The converted building is set to include 29 two-bedroom units, 100 one-bedroom units, and 7 studios. The project would set aside 7 of the new units as dedicated affordable housing, per the more recent application documents.
