Arlington Ridge is bordered on the north by The Pentagon, on the west by the Army Navy Country Club, and to the south by the City of Alexandria. The main thoroughfare is Arlington Ridge Road, a mansion-lined street that offers stunning views of DC and the surrounding areas. 

Local History

During the Civil War, Arlington Ridge was the first Confederate-occupied territory to be captured by the Union. It became the final encampment for most of the Union army. The residential development of Arlington Ridge dates back to the 1930’s.

Arlington Ridge Real Estate

Arlington Ridge is made up of 1,200 single-family homes, and also a several high-rise luxury condominium buildings. Most Arlington Ridge homes vary in style.

Arlington Ridge Community

The Arlington Ridge Civic Association is an active community voice. The community comes together for an annual Halloween parade, and a 4th of July viewing of the DC fireworks. Joggers and bikers can hop onto the Four Mile Trail, along the southern border of the neighborhood. Arlington Ridge is only a short drive from all of the restaurants and nightlife in Crystal City, Pentagon City, and Clarendon.
