EYA has acquired land at the Crystal House redevelopment site to build Highlands Row, a collection of 42 fee-simple luxury townhomes designed in a unique back-to-back style, a first for Arlington County. Highlights include:- Approximately 2,000 square feet of living space per home
- Up to three bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms
- Two garage parking spaces per residence, located beneath the units
- All-electric systems and modern, eco-friendly finishes
- A podium-style design that maximizes density while maintaining livability and attractive facades

Why It Matters
Highlands Row is part of a five-phase redevelopment plan at Crystal House that will add 865 new homes to the existing 828-unit site. Of these, 655 units will be designated as affordable housing, thanks to a public-private partnership involving Arlington County, Amazon’s Housing Equity Fund, Washington Housing Conservancy, and True Ground Housing Partners. This blend of market-rate townhomes and affordable housing is key to National Landing’s future as a mixed-income, transit-rich community.
