The Goodhart name is the only name you need to know in real estate! Allison has honed her real estate skills from years of working in the family business. She even remembers putting flags in Del Ray lawns as a child to help her parents business! In college, she obtained her real estate license to help while home on breaks. She also interned for Barbara Corcoran, "New York's Queen of Real Estate", and one of the personalities and investors on ABC's hit show Shark Tank. Allison feels fortunate to have been mentored by real estate role models as Sue, Marty and Barbara which has given her a keen market and business sense as well as an understanding of customer service.
Over the last ten years Allison has worked in every role on the team, from answering phones and stuffing envelopes while in college, to managing listings after graduating with honors from Dickinson College, and later, showing property and negotiating contracts. Having worked her way up to one of the team's lead agents, she enjoys helping buyers find that special property and doing everything possible to showcase listings so clients can move on to the next phase of their lives. Allison has also taken over the management of the team. As such, she creates and monitors the overall marketing plan and oversees all facets of the team's business plan, sales, operations and systems. Allison is constantly working to ensure that every client has a fantastic experience with The Goodhart Group!
Born and raised in Alexandria and a former resident of Arlington, the Kalorama, Adams Morgan and Georgetown neighborhoods of Washington, D.C., Allison currently lives in Old Town, Alexandria. She takes special pride in her expansive understanding of the DMV area. When she is not helping clients, you can find Allison exploring the local culinary scene by working her way through Washingtonian Magazines Top 100 Restaurants with her fiance, friends and family, cheering on DC area sports teams and simply enjoying life around town. When possible, Allison also loves visiting Bethany Beach, traveling to new places and visiting local wineries. She is a very active in a variety of local charities and is Co-Chair of the Advisory Council for The Fund for Alexandria's Child and is a member of the Junior Friends of The Campagna Center.
Early in 2015, Allison was named to Realtor Magazine's "30 Under 30" club, one of 30 Realtors nationwide to be selected and featured by the magazine. Her market savvy and experience in the family business, combined with a keen knowledge of the entire Washington, DC Metro Area allow her to work seamlessly with clients and other agents alike.
