The always-busy brewery off of Duke Street has closed their tasting room until further notice. However, they are offering beer to-go in their parking lot for patrons to pull up and a staff member can sell them a variety of their beers right in the parking lot. Port City is also offering delivery within a 5 mile radius of the brewery.
The group that operates several restaurants in Alexandria including Buzz Bakeshop, Evening Star Cafe, Columbia Firehouse, Vermillion, and Rustico announced on Monday, March 16, that all of their restaurants will be closed to patrons and running on delivery and take out orders only. Diners can call to place delivery or take out orders or use DoorDash to place their orders.
The busy sub shop in Old Town has created a new pick up window for customers to utilize. Customers can place their order online, call in, or place their order in person all to be picked up in person at the pickup window. Their full menu is available including breakfast options, cappuccinos, subs, and dinners-to-go.
The Del Ray eatery known for its delicious biscuits has transitioned to take out only, with a register placed at the front door where patrons can place orders. Stomping Ground management does encourage folks to place their orders online ahead of time.
The popular fruit and health outpost with locations in Old Town and Del Ray is currently closed for dine-in customers but is doing pick up orders via their app as well as delivery through Uber Eats with no delivery fees.
Just a stone’s throw away from our office on King Street, Urbano 116 is one of our go-to spots after work for a margarita. Its unique smokey salsa is definitely a must-have whether you order carryout or dine in the restaurant. The margaritas and sangria are also currently available to-go.
The Fish Market on King Street in Old Town is open for both carry out and delivery. For delivery, check out Grub Hub, Postmates, or Uber Eats. Be sure to try the Mahi Sandwich!
We love the interesting creations on the inexpensive taco menu and the excellent late-night happy hour specials at this upscale-casual eatery and bar that features gluten-free options. Be sure to try the sweet and spicy mahi mahi taco and the spicy margarita…it’s got quite a kick! We also love that it’s right next door to the new Compass office on King Street. They’re currently open for carry out and delivery from 12pm-8pm. Delivery is available through Uber Eats, Grub Hub, and Door Dash.
We first fell in love with this place at its Georgetown location so we were naturally thrilled when the King Street location opened a couple of years ago. The atmosphere here is more typical of a Mexican restaurant. Our favorite thing on the menu is the white queso dip. Carry out is available through online and phone orders for dinner during the week and for both lunch and dinner on the weekend.
The popular spot in Old Town on John Carlyle Street is offering carry-out service. It has several different taco styles available so feel free to mix and match as you please. Its famous margaritas are currently available in Mason Jars to-go!
The popular taco spot located in a defunct chop off of Madison Street in Old Town is offering their variety of small plates, tacos, and meal combos for carryout. If you love comfort Mexican food, then Chop Shop is probably the place for you.
The Fresh Market on King Street is offering hours for just seniors each weekday from 8am-9am.
You can head over to Taqueria Poblano in Del Ray to get your Mexican food fix as Taqueria Poblano is offering their full menu for takeout through call-in orders.
If you’re ready for some margaritas, the popular Tex-Mex eatery on Mount Vernon Avenue in Del Ray officially re-opened May 3 for carry-out orders.
If you’re in the mood for seafood, The Wharf is open for carry out and delivery from 12pm-8pm Monday-Sunday. Cocktails and beer and wine are also available to-go as well from The Wharf.
The popular Old Town bar and restaurant on S. Union Street on the Old Town Waterfront opened back up Friday May 1. They will be offering beer and wine to go as well as frozen drinks in future.

The popular modern Irish pub in the heart of Old Town is offering a modified delivery and pick-up. Right now they’re open Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30-3:30pm and Friday through Saturday from 12:30-6:30pm.
Dept. of Beer and Wine is currently offering delivery in Virginia, though there is a $60 minimum for delivery. Delivery is free for any orders over $100. Delivery fees apply and are based on a 15 mile radius from the store. They’re also open for take-out daily from 11am-6pm. They’re also offering their various grocery items as well.
Cheesetique in Del Ray, Shirlington, and Mosaic is offering delivery and take-out options. They also now have an in-house selection of various grocery items including fresh produce and of course toilet paper.
Nasime is offering a small menu each day available to take-out as well as delivery within a 3 mile radius with a $5 delivery fee. You can check their Facebook page each day to see their different menu for the day.
Sonoma Cellar is offering both take-out and delivery options through all of the major local delivery options. All of their wine bottles are also 40 percent off. You can’t beat that deal!
If you’re in the mood for Italian, Osteria Marzano in Franconia is offering a wide menu of Italian dishes available starting at 3:15pm each day. All the wine and beer bottles are also 50% off. Delivery services are also available through Uber Eats and GrubHub.
The popular local cafe with dog themed menu items is offering both delivery and carry-out from their location in Old Town on S. Henry Street. You really cannot go wrong with any of their sandwiches, pizzas or salads. Our team loves the Fat Willis Salad! Delivery is free if you live in Old Town close to the restaurant.
