Bluemont Real Estate

Bluemont consists of mostly single-family homes with a few townhouses located near Glebe Road.

Bluemont History

Bluemont, one of the largest Arlington neighborhoods, was named after the town of Bluemont in Loudon County, the last stop on the Washington and Old Dominion Railroad that connected to present day Bluemont. The Bluemont Junction, which is no longer in operation, is located in what is now Bluemont Park.

Bluemont Community

The Bluemont Civic Association is an active presence in the community. It organizes a Halloween parade and Veteran’s Day ceremony. Bluemont contains numerous retail stores, a grocery store, and several restaurants (be sure to stop by Pupatella for delicious Neapolitan pizza). Bluemont Park and Bon Air Memorial Park and Rose Garden are also located in the neighborhood. Bluemont Park features a fun disc golf course that is great for all ages.
