Bordered by Fort Hunt Road to the east, Paul Spring Parkway to the north, Fairfax Road to the south and Karl Road to the west, Hollin Hall Village is a charming tree-lined neighborhood that prides itself on being a “pleasant little community.”

Hollin Hall Village History

Most homes were built post-World War II in the late 1940’s, making it one of Fairfax County’s oldest neighborhoods. It is named for nearby Hollin Hall, a nearby 18th-century plantation home that George Mason gave to his third son.  

Hollin Hall Village Real Estate

Hollin Hall Village consists of approximately 700 1940s era red brick single family homes. Home styles are primarily one level ramblers, with some Cape Cods and split levels. There has been a surge in new construction within the neighborhood in recent years.

Home prices range from the high $500,000s for a 900 square foot, three bedroom, one bathroom rambler up to the high $700,000s for larger models that have been expanded. The new construction homes are currently selling for upwards of $1.3-1.5M.

Hollin Hall Village Community

The Hollin Hall Village Citizens Association is the neighborhood’s active governing body. The Mount Vernon Park Pool within the neighborhood is a 13 acre park with pools, a lake for fishing, a playground and picnic area. It is home to many annual events like “Crab Fest,” campouts, pig roasts, and more. The Hollin Hall Senior Center offers a wide variety of classes and programs for seniors.

Walk to River Bend Bistro for a dinner and a cocktail or to Roseina’s to grab gourmet takeout and a bottle of wine. Meet a friend for coffee at the Hollin Hall Pastry Shop then peruse the aisles of the 1950’s era Variety Store, where you can find everything from sewing materials to school supplies.
