Sometimes a name says it all. Located in Alexandria’s west end, the community of Seminary Ridge is as advertised. Yes, there actually is a seminary and yes, there are ridges, although their size may be debated. Seminary Ridge rose to prominence, and some might say providence, in 1818 with the construction of the Virginia Theological Seminary. The Seminary’s 80-acre campus is open to the public.

Quality of Life:

Ample amenities are close at Seminary Plaza Shopping Center and Bradlee Shopping Center. INOVA Alexandria Hospital is located nearby.
