Clover and College Park
The Clover and College Park neighborhoods are located between Janneys Lane and Duke Street in Alexandria City.
Dartmouth Road, Vassar Place, Yale Drive, and Cambridge Road are the main streets, with College Park to the west of Cambridge Road and Clover to the east. Conveniently located between Interstate 395 and access to the Capital Beltway, Clover and College Park are a haven for driving commuters. Bishop Ireton High School is located in the neighborhood and TC Williams High School is in walkable distance from College Park and Clover. Alexandria’s two other high schools, Episcopal High School and St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes Upper School, are within five minutes.
Clover and College Park Real Estate
Charming mid 20th-century homes are found here, along with mature trees and quiet streets. Clover features approximately 160 Colonials, ramblers, and two-level homes on winding streets. President Gerald Ford called Clover home, living at 514 Crown View Drive just prior to and for the first ten days of his presidency! A park honoring him remains part of the neighborhood today. College Park is a neighborhood of about 80 homes built in the 1950s, many of which now have additions.

Residents can stroll to a nearby Giant, Starbucks, Panera Bread, CVS, Dunkin Donuts, and much more. Local dinner options abound in Old Town and the nearby Bradlee Center.
We love the community feel of Clover and College Park. The neighborhood has maintained its friendly 1950s feel where the neighbors all know each other and gather for events such as block parties and movie nights. In fact, the active Clover College Park Citizens Association strives to keep residents abreast of important local issues such as traffic calming efforts. It also offers various neighborhood listservs.
George Washington Park
The charming neighborhood of George Washington Park is situated directly behind the iconic George Washington Masonic Temple in Alexandria City.
George Washington Park is walking distance to King Street Metro stop, the VRE, and the Masonic grounds, which offer lovely walks and great views of the City.
George Washington Park Real Estate
George Washington Park real estate is a small enclave of approximately 200 homes, this hilltop retreat features brick Cape Cods and Colonial style homes.
